This music was commissioned for the Seattle Girls’ Choir by its conductor, Jacob Winkler.  The poem is by Kim-An Lieberman (1974-2013), from her collection Breaking the Map (2008, Blue Begonia Press) which explored her Vietnamese-American heritage.  It is used by permission of her family.
